The International Panel of Judges has decided to honor Northern Health with the Frontrunner Award for delivering game-changing Hospital performance improvements. The prestigious “Frontrunner Award” award is given to organizations that leads the pack and challenges conventional ways of thinking and working with the aim of moving into new frontiers and unknown territories by pushing the boundaries of how to think, work and implement business concepts.

Northern Health presented their unique Case Story: Rethinking Healthcare for Improved Performance, and showed the audience at the annual Global University Alliance conference that through using the LEADing Practice reference content, they were enabled to rethink the way healthcare is provided to consumers in British Columbia. A senior management team from Northern Health presented four case studies showing how the reference content tools had been used to improve performance at three levels: large-scale transformation, departmental re-alignment and service performance improvement.
